I am a licensed hairstylist, hair cutter, and trichology practitioner specializing in healthy natural hair, precision cutting, silk presses, twists, and scalp care. I focus on long-term hair health - not rushed services or quick fixes. The Velvet Crown was created for clients who value consistency, communication, and a peaceful salon experience. Every appointment is treated as dedicated time for your crown, with education and care woven into every service. Booking & Salon Policies (Please Read) Deposits & Payment • A non-refundable deposit is required to book all appointments • Deposits are applied toward your final service total • A card on file is required at the time of booking Cancellations & No-Shows • 48+ hours notice: no charge • Within 48 hours: 50% of service price • Within 24 hours / same-day: 100% of service price • No-shows are charged 100% All fees must be paid before booking future appointments. Late Arrivals • Please arrive on time • Arrivals 15 minutes or more late may result in a shortened or rescheduled appointment • Full service price still applies • Repeated lateness may affect future booking privileges Service Changes • Appointment time is reserved for the service selected • Same-day service changes will still be charged at the originally booked service rate Guests & Children • Children are welcome when necessary • No additional guests are permitted unless they are being serviced • Children must remain supervised at all times • Disruptive behavior may require rescheduling with full payment Client Responsibility • Please disclose all hair, scalp, allergy, and health information when booking • Follow professional recommendations and home-care guidance • Once you leave the salon, The Velvet Crown is not responsible for at-home maintenance • Results vary based on hair condition, consistency, and lifestyle By booking an appointment, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to all policies listed above.
